Chrysler Keyless remotes and transponder chip keys

Your Chrysler comes with a Chrysler chip key. Your car will not start if you try to use a key that does not have this chip in it. You cannot go to the local hardware store to make copies; you can only use a Chrysler key. Likewise, your Chrysler remote sends a signal specific to your car; if you lose your key or remote, you must see the manufacturer or a vendor who specializes in accessories for Chrysler keyless entry systems. You can turn to Chrysler or to one of these vendors to purchase a Chrysler replacement key. An online search will offer a list of resources for assistance. Most resources can supply a Chrysler replacement remote as well.
